I'm aware that the pay is pretty poor in California and jobs are difficult to come by. Is this true and is it similar in other States? Hi,

Can anyone offer me any insight into what the prospects are for an Irish-qualified primary school teacher in the States? I'm aware that the pay is pretty poor in California and jobs are difficult to come by. Is this true and is it similar in other States? Also, what further credentials must I acquire in order to teach there? I am interested in working in America next year and would greatly appreciate some info from anyone with experience.
