Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Massive phone issue guys, don't have the full story but here it is. My sister said she turned on her phone to find all her photos were gone from the device yet all her videos were still there. I checked the DCIM folder to find no photos their either. all her photos were on her phone as of yesterday, its only since turning her phone on today to find her photos missing and her videos all intacts. How can I find the photos please, its a Moto E. Help very much appreciated, she's like an anti christ over it!

    SD card or internal memory?

Unsure as to were she stored them, I would say the SD card as internal memory on that phone is only 2gb. Can only find all videos all photos are gone...

I recommend that, but she's only 12, she thought the phone could do its job I guess. Any idea what to do to try and look for them?

If u can get the sd card into an adapter for a PC

    Download FTK imager http://accessdata.com/product-download/digital-forensics/ftk-imager-version-3.2.0

Go to Add evidence item and choose the physical drive of the sd card.

You can then browse the contents and should see deleted files which you can export.

Google photos might have done it automatically anyway ? If she has a google account and it's linked to the phone, as long as the Photos app was on her phone it should do it.

I've had phones do something similar before - once I found them in a folder called LOST.dir and another time the phone created a whole second directory called SD2 (almost as if there were 2 sd cards installed) and the data was on the second one.

Questions, I have to register before downloading. It won't let me continue without entering a company name what do I put into it?
