angle of view and cctv

    How do you determine what the angle of view needs to be if you want to cover a specific area? some cameras say they have 62 degrees . how would you know if that is enough to cover your particular area?

    It depends on distance from camera to the point of interest, the focal length of the lens, and the size of the CCD

    It depends on distance from camera to the point, please tell me what area camera must cover?
