Can anybody advise where I can get a back up battery for an Astec 63DV house alarm, preferably in the Navan or surrounding area.

    Thanks

Most alarm/electrical suppliers would have these.
This is the one you want.

Thanks. Found a place in Navan that does them.

Be careful installing that battery. The Astec systems are not the easiest.
Power down the system completely & ensure you don't snag the battery cables between back of the PCB & the battery.

Thanks for that. Changed battery ok but now getting sab 1 fault. Same fault did show some time ago but then disappeared and alarm was working fine apart from battery error. Assume this is a bell related error and might need professional attention?

It may be a fault with the sab as well. Double check the connections at the panel to make sure you didn't disturb anything.

Thanks for that. Will take a look at connections. Hopefully that's all it will be.
