Is there anyone selling double shoulder strap rifle slings in Ireland, the .243 gets heavy on one shoulder after an hour or two of walking. I'd like to be able to order one tomorrow.

Be great if someone could point me in the right direction.

I ended up ordering a Niggeloh back pack gun sling. I hope it will be good, I only got to order it today so I might not have it til Wednesday. Can't wait to try it out on Saturday though.

Still weight on your shoulders no matter what.

Get a Gunslinger rifle holster. Best buy I ever got for stalking, after my rifle.
Great bit of kit and puts all the weight of the rifle on your waist.

TAB gear biathlon sling is the only job if its a heavy rifle.I use one on my 308 which is almost 18lbs when going on the hills.I also use it on a 223 at times when im on some of the more rugged mountainy permissions I have.very comfy and bomb proof, makes carrying a rifle for long periods on your back an ease.It also has a cinch cuff for propper sling support shooting.

Have had both TAB and Niggeloh and had a better user experience with the TAB gear one.
I think it could have been because it was on a AI chassis (heavy rifle) so was side mounted meaning the rifle was flat against my back. Way more stable and comfortable than I was ever able to get the Niggeloh one.

The Niggeloh was connected to traditional sling swivel studs on a plastic tikka stock. Rifle flips left and right a lot in that scenario. I'd like to try a Niggeloh on a rifle with side mountings to do a like for like comparison.

TAB gear one was strong as feck, put it through some serious abuse including hauling deer out of a hole with it once and I was certain it wouldn't hold up to the abuse. Didn't even mark it but it never did quite smell the same again :P
