Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well done Georgia, we need to capitalise on this

YAHOOOOO! they are no joke, BUT bear in mind, we will be at home, they have to travel and have had an intense match tonight, we have a training exercise tonight, tonight means nothing, however many we score...

I'm amazed that Scotland have let us back in.

Two poor teams fighting for 3rd place in this group.

Hopefully that result will fire up our lads. Great opportunity now to be right back in this group.

Georgia are no joke. Il take a 1-0 against them on monday.

    I'd take 1-0 tonight and 1-0 Monday!

georgia with 3 points before this result beat scotland! We are good at beating the poor sides, very consistent BUT we beat ourselves against the average to good sides!

Everyone calling this a practise game. Lets hope that doesn't jinx us now. Memorys of San Marino under Stan are creeping in.

Georgia are due a home win in this group so I have a feeling that they can defeat or draw with a limited Scottish side.
    Handy few pound made

I think Sadlier is right and Brady is showing why he never made it as a manager

What's the Irish starting 11 lads? Trying to watch on Rte player but impossible outside the country

Listening to the RTE panal here, I wouldn't play the same team either, dont want to risk anyone for the Georgia match.

Two bald men fighting over a comb...

Could be some big teams in the playoffs (Holland for a start) but for now thank you Georgia, they'll be dancing in Atlanta tonight!

I think the relief of the Scotland result will "gee up" the lads tonight and they'll play well and with confidence.

    My prediction is 0-8

Brady even said as much, regarding Coleman and Wilson (I think) who would miss the Georgia game with a yellow.

You can't risk that, and as Sadlier said putting anyone in anywhere is not a risk.

Brady then went on to say he would play the team that will play against Georgia.

Why are Everton players always fragile on international duty?

Ah lads....O'Neill surely has to realise that Keane's legs are gone, fair enough he'll score a few tonight against very poor opposition but in the big games when you have Hoolahan looking for someone to make a run...you surely have to be picking Shane Long? The guy changed the Poland game and he only got 10mins on the pitch

Long is better coming on against tired legs

But Keane can't hold up the ball or compete in the air....so we're just inviting pressure on ourselves.

Scotland were awful, expected much more from them. Shows how poor we were only to get point off them

If we lose or draw tonight I swear to god this Irish team should never be left home.

If we do finish 3rd we will get Holland in the playoffs

Thats what Jon Walters is for. Keane is there to score goals, nobody comes close to him in that regard

The heat sapped the Scots fitness

But Walters is on the wing no? I'd be picking Long ahead of Walters or Keane anyways..

We are better then Scotland, we don't have manager who can get job done in a crucial game which is big problem.
