Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Drogheda 0-2 up in Derry....dragging Derry back into it, does anyone want to break clear of the bottom

    Limerick 1-0 up against Pats.

Fives teams across both divisions play their home matches on Saturdays. In the only forced Saturday kick off the season, the FAI have three of them playing away to teams that normally play Fridays. Genius.

Shaun Kelly for limerick sent off, anyone at it who saw it? Here myself but nobody knows what the red was for?

    Limerick 2-0 at half time

It's saying on extratime.ie he threw a dig at the Pats fella off the ball

10 man Limerick 3-0 up. Thanks for nothing, Pats.

Away to Galway in two weeks is going to be an uncomfortable day.

We're in a terrible state currently. 3-0 down to 10 men. It just is not working for us atm.

How have Limerick done it though a month ago they were as good as dead and buried amazing turn around

Only basing this on one game at market fields, but that evening it just didn't click for them. If they kept at least being positive and stick with it, results would follow. It's obviously gone better than expected.

Only a simplistic view of it, but it worked. Happy for Russell though

1-1 In Dundalk. The wedding crasher with the equaliser.

And Galway take the lead. Not a good day for us so far but a point in Dundalk with be good.

And Dundalk score a cracker from 30 yards. Brilliant...

    2-2 :D. C'mon lads. Hold on to a point!

Awful game out in Tallaght. We gave away a sloppy goal but we also scored a ridiculously hilarious goal in the 1st half.

Unreal set of results for the Youths, looking so good for us now

Just couldn't get the ball in... And when it dee finally got one it was ruled out for god knows what.
Annoying as hell as it probably would have removed any shels threat.
The ucd/youths games will go a long way to sorting the table... Two ucd wins may be ideal for us at this point... Your definitely best placed now tho.

    Sigh.
Congrats Wexford. Can't see us winning both games against ye to pull back the gap between us. Just far too many leads we've let slip this season. Hopefully we can hold onto the playoff spot.

How big a loss will Jack Watson be?

What would be the chances of the ball bouncing off him and spinning into the goal again (and seemingly picking up pace away from chasing defenders)...1 in 10, 1 in 100? Familiar story of recent Bohs games in Tallaght.

    'Roddy' mind games :)

Seriously though, there is a bit of steel about the Youths these days. The double header coming up is crucial

Plenty of backup to replace him. The only thing is that pretty much all the first team are bollixed from not having a break for months so it's one less player to have as backup.

Galway Utds second goal lastnight was a thing of beauty, about 30 passes in the build up, superb movement and a top finish, make sure ye catch it on Monday.

If Wexford win the next two games they are Champions right? Two very tough games though, but we do have super Danny Furlong in the side!

if they were to draw v athlone/shels, Finn Park on the last day would be a title decider.... in the unlikely case we win all our games.

Can any Dundalk fans tell me how our new signing (Myrie-Williams) did last night?

He looked decent. Thought he was your standout player. Although Sligo didn't create a whole lot he was always neat and tidy in possession and rarely if ever wasted a pass. Looked a bit tired in the last quarter but definitely looks to be a decent addition for Sligo. Where did you's get him from?

From a Dundalk perspective last night was a tad disappointing. We really should have won that game. Two awful goals to concede. Question marks still hanging over Gary Rogers. Has had a few boo boo's this season. Still though yet again the chasing pack fail to capitalise so no real harm done.

Absolutely dire from us last night, the false hope is gone now barring a miracle.

He was on the books of Scunthorpe (league 1) until the end of the season, but went on loan to Tranmere (conference) in January. He's been clubless since July which is why he would have tired towards the end.

Someone said he was in the League 2 team of the season one year and he was a regular for Dundee in the SPL at one point. Hopefully he's decent.

He was more than decent. He caused Massey endless problems, no one else has this season. He can go outside, cut inside, all with good pace.

If Sligo play him in a more central position, he will destroy most centre backs in the LOI.

    Very good player.

Cheers, looking forward to our trip up there, but really hope we have it wrapped up before then.

Ironically it was only when I actually began to believe we could win the first division (when we came from behind against Athlone) when our season turned to sh!t.

Congrats again to Youths. Hoping to at least keep faint hopes alive next Friday.
