Great kick, Ireland look well off the pace here!

I'm sorry but that was Bowe again. I don't know what he was doing kicking from a position he simply couldn't chase from. And that gave them the possession which led to the territory, which in turn led to the try.

    Shít

Poor from Zebo there, you just can't lose a one-on-one duel, it's a try if you do. Watson is good in the air but positioning slightly off?

    Zebo again.

    Axe to grind much ?

That Duh Duh Duh music they play after tries makes me want to break something.

Great try, England exploiting the fact that Zebo isn't a natural FB.

Poor execution of the box kicks

Hopefully we never see Zebo at fullback again

After Scotland and Wales you'd have to have some concerns but we are being pulverised here.

Ah Zebo....but great take from Watson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Zebo again.

Again??? Clearly Bowes missed tackle for the first try and while he may do a little better with that second try the kick to Watson was perfect.
Watson was running into the ball while zebo was going backwards

Most worrying aspect of this performance is Sextons form imo .

Not sure about that, that was exactly the type of ball you defend on the wing.

Bowe looked like he had to stop to suck in a breath before that last garryowen.

That all stemmed from a very poor kick from Bowe, the execution from England for that try was brilliant, it was pretty much on top of Zebo's head, he couldn't do anything and the attacker was always going to have the advantage there.

Not a great start at all. POM has looked good which is encouraging. Should be motoring come RWC.

And he makes a tackle, saving Best's arse.

Bowe looks shattered after 15 minutes.

    Murray down. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Our strength and conditioning is fine but this particular pack selection is not the beefiest we have. The likes of Henderson and Ryan would introduce a lot more grunt.

Yep and were kicking kicking kicking

To all the posters who complain about Rob Kearney and say he doesn't do much...

    Terrible tackling from Ireland.

Through Tommy's hands and England go straight for that wing again.

Bowe looks in awful condition. Awful. Why is he ahead of Trimble?

Bowe having a stinker. Hope Murray is ok.

Don't know if its all down to being at different stages in preparation but England are faster, stronger and fitter than us by the looks of it.

Defence has been shocking. Murray possibly saved a try with that tackle but he never should have been allowed through, and injured himself doing it.

POM has looked good... Bowe looks way off the pace.

Back three is all over the place. Oh god bring back Trimble

    Zebo again.
You don't have a rashers. Zebo was going backwards and has little chance against a player moving forwards.

Bowe has been dreadful, way to soft in tackle for a big guy. Cost us first try, kick and chase lost us all the ground for that 2nd try.

Yes. Poor positioning from Zebo alright.

I wouldn't worry too much yet, England were always going to come out all guns blazing for the first 20 minutes, try for us and we're right back in it.

    Ireland look decidedly undercooked.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 686 ✭✭✭Flincher

Harsh enough on Zebo. It was a great kick landing just behind Zebo. It's very difficult to get off the ground when you're back pedalling. Watson had a running jump. He was always going to win that.

Zebo's positioning has been questionable several times in fairness.
I agree about Bowe, he is very poor.

not zebo's fault. jonny wilkinson summed it peffectly

D kearney has been fine, zebo possibly 2 dodgy decisions.

    Tommy :(

Bowe took time off preseason to get married and it looks it. He's been woeful.
