Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Can at right centre back
    Can at centre back
    Can in central midfield
    Clyne at left back
    Gomez at right back
    Ibe at left wing back
Ibe at right wing back (crap in both)
Rossiter and Allen as the engine room

I mean is anyone shocked at the result when Rodgers is jamming pieces together to make a psychopathic jigsaw?

Oh I forgot the hugely challenging qualifying rounds.

    No worse than Sion mate

To be fair, Rodgers would find it difficult to navigate his Liverpool team through the League 2 promotion playoffs right now.

    More makey uppy facts?

I'd sack him if the team is announced on Sunday and he has Can at CB.

Very very disappointed. We surely should be on top of this group with 6 points but we could very likely not qualify.

Action needs to be taken to save this season.

At this stage the only people left on board the good ship Brendy have to be relatives, friends of his, Everton fans and fans of absurd comedy.

The rest of us have given up scratching our heads and are looking for rotten fruit to throw.

Just because joachim loew can stick Can in defence. Doesnt mean we should.

What's up with interviewers hard on for Origi?

Very disapointed with Ibe. He is low in confidence & being played WB. Its a common theme that happens with our players who are moved around position But he needs to start taking these chances or I think a loan move in January could be a good move for him.
The reason he did well in the team last season was because he was full of confidence after his loan spell at Derby. That confidence has evaporated and he's struggling to play in a supposed team which looks like a bunch of players thrown together for the first time every game.

and even then he should be able to make 5 yard passes.

Regardless of what position he's in he is doing the simple things wrong...since March

    Funny interview with Brendan.

"You've gotta defend yerself, well done"
    Brendan: "... ehmm.. yeah"

    "Rebuilding"

    Tired of hearing that Brendan.

Discount them and Rodgers record is even worse.

That's if you want to be consistent which isn't a given.

I bet he wasnt playing in a 3-4-1-2 at Derby. Stupid, needlessly complicated system. Just play a fcking diamond against Sion, at home, trust your bloody players to beat a Swiss mid table side without making all about you and your fcking football genius formation. Seriously, get over it Rodgers.

If you watch Ibe he doesn't know where to be, his instinct is to receive the ball at feet and go at defenders, which he is good at when on form and confident.

Thought Origi played well. Has great pace & some good runs in behind.

    Rebuilding?

Fúck right off with that patronising bollox, Brendan. We're not stupid. You can't rebuild in-fúcking-definitely. I know you'd like to, but you can't.

Syria or Iraq is the place for Brendan. Plenty of rebuilding to be done.

Yeah, looks like he could benefit from a few more of these games.

He's gonna end up on one of those cowboy builder shows at this rate.

Even though it was far from the first choice eleven that team still cost over 100 million I guess. There is no excuse like in the past for a weakened team. He has signed all those players and spent a lot of money on them.

1 win in 5 at home lads.

We're fcuked. These are the easy games, the longer it goes on we'll be leaving a new manager with harder and harder games at home. The top 6 plus Everton will all be at home in the second half of the season. The longer this goes on it becomes negligent and reckless.

Playing wingers at wing back is just going to ruin them more often than not. Ibe and Markovic are prime examples of promising young players who have looked lost playing there.

I really don't understand his fascination with Wingbacks, it's not like the defence looks better, and going forward we are just as poor. Why buy one of the best RB's in the league and play him out of position.

He's playing a system that was figured out about 20 games ago.

442 is too old fashioned for an innovator like Brendan.

really poor comments. Origi had a great game. He is a committee signing though so gets criticised.

He was definitely our best player (Lallana the only other positive) but really should have put away the one on one chance.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers: "The result was disappointing considering the number of chances we created. We worked well and had a good start but gave away a disappointing goal. The players worked hard but we couldn't score the goals. You have to be clinical.
"We scored a good first goal. They weren't half chances, they were good chances and you have to score them at this level. We have to win a game like that."

You'd swear it was nothing to do with him.

Rodgers the coward ... publicly throwing the kid under a bus, never anything to do with his "philosophy" .... just go, immediately.

The only reason Rodgers is stil there is because of Mike Gordon, and it's very worrying that the most powerful person at LFC won't sack him.
