Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will the two lads be back in time for when we clinch the title in May?

I think they have enough game time to get medals.

Don't think we need to bring in another striker in January because of the injury. Sturridge, Benteke and Origi is fine assuming we'll mainly be playing with one up top.

The Ings injury happened at Melwood, not for England.

When you put a link in it breaks into two parts the second part is still highlighted and you can write whatever you want into it.

Nope. Overseas loan are full season.

Looking at Sunday it seems Benteke is not ready so it'll be Sturridge and Origi on the bench you'd suspect. In the little I have seen Origi play for Liverpool I have been more impressed with his general link up play than his finishing. Maybe some hope there.

No pressure Daniel, but ..err, try and stay fit please.

You really need to question the England training setup, Gomez and now Ings only after shortly returning, on top of Sturridge last season.

Gutted for Ings, took his chance and was our best attacking player.

I'm sure England would tell you to fupp off, considering he did his ACL training with Liverpool.

"Ings twisted his knee during his first training session with Klopp"

Could be a big chance for Sinclair if Klopp likes what he sees.

We still have Sturridge, Origi and Benteke.

    I can't see it.

Have they disturbed an old Indian burial ground while building the new stand or what?

    Might explain the bad luck.

Origi will be a big player now in my opinion. His work rate has looked fairly good so far this season, an improvement in his finishing is defined required though.

I recall using a similar image as my desktop wall-paper for a while. Those dirty ol scoundrels really shat on the club when you remember they didn't want to use their own money. It was all a roll of the dice for them.

Have seen no evidence of this yet to be fair. But he has his chance now to impress the new boss, especially if Sturridge gets injured again.

Gutted to hear about Ings' injury. There's only so many of those ACL injuries a player can take. Not that he can't come back from it or anything, but mentally as well it must just be a killer.

Klopp really has his work cut out this season. I'm not expecting much, being honest. If we're realistically still in for a Champions League placing come April, that would be decent.

A spade in the ground within 60 days.

I'll never forget Hicks giving that SSN interview in front of a roaring fire, with clips of him and his sons watching Liverpool DVD's drinking from Liverpool FC mugs. How stupid and thick did they think sports fans over here were to fall for that propaganda??

I take it Ings' injury will bring the tribunal fee back down.

Liverpool fans gleeful and dreaming of the possibilities under their new manager Klopp.

Hodgson does his best to deflate Liverpool fans with injuries to two of their promising young players. (I know Gomez wasn't in the senior squad)

And Ings was injured while training with Liverpool, not England. Apart from that though, you're spot on.

    ;)

feel very very sorry for the lad. Liked him a lot, enthusiastic and plenty of energy. Not as bad 'skill' wise as many would have you believe. Hope he comes back stronger :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,482 ✭✭✭Hollister11

Remember when Roy said this "Liverpool are not to big for a relegation battle" and "I'm convinced Liverpool will not be in the bottom 3 at the end of the season".

tbh He should of been sacked straight away after this interview.

Hodgson probably came in and tripped him or something or placed a banana peel in his path and whatever story that came out is a cover up by the english media protecting The Hodge.

Omen Schmomen - you gotta have setbacks for the eventual rise to be all the more powerful.

Hard to believe that Woy got the Liverpool job now, isn't it?

I mean if he'd said that type of thing at Inter Milan when he managed them, the press would have filleted him and Moratti the President would probably have sacked him.
