Do you still have to choose a minimum of 2 lines now it's more expensive due to more numbers? If so does that make it a minimum spend of €4 for 2 lines without plus? This is far too expensive, I'd quite happily have one line per draw but 2 lines now is far too pricey, to enter 2 draws per week at €4 would be €416 per year.

Then don't play, they don't put you in thumb screws if you don't buy a ticket. Yes the minimum is €4 (2 lines) or €5 if you do the plus,

Apologies, shouldn't have posted here. Was fuming after learning of the price increase!

OP, according to their website you do indeed must play a minimum of 2 lines @ €2/line.

    How to play Lotto Online

You’ll need to play a minimum of two lines on the ticket opposite. Key in your chosen six numbers on the lines opposite between 1 and 47.

They have been advertising the changes for months and it has been on radio discussions many times in the past weeks.
They maintain the prizes will be bigger and more of them

Personally, I hope it brings some people to their senses and they stop wasting their money on it. Unfortunately, many are hooked on the "dream" and will continue.

Its always been a minimum of two lines on the Irish lotto. Euro million/ daily million you could do one line.

The odds of winning are so remote that some say that the Lotto is a tax on stupidity.
