Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dead child.

    The picture of a dead child has caused a lot of attention concerning immigrants' plight. Hundreds of people have drowned in the Mediterranean recently. What is special about this particular one? Maybe because it was on camera. Someone is playing a good game at pulling the nations's heart strings.

    Unfortunately a lot of people couldn't give a hoot about what is happening to those who are less fortunate than us. It takes a shocking picture like this to gather the attention of people to actually take some action.

    It's not playing on the heart strings. These people are mostly genuine asylum seekers who are looking for a new home. Uncle Sam and the other oil rich Arab states who have been sponsoring this war having done nothing to help the millions displaced. The UN has completely failed so somebody has to take action.
