Yeah, he's fantastic. Also his Stand-Up Specials are well worth watching if you haven't already.

Her mannerisms are so quirky and funny. Hilarious watching her during the music piece in last weeks show. In agreement with Greg, it is like watching a muppets character at times, in a nice way.

Strong candidate for MVP of the season. He's grown on me episode by episode...

JA has gone up massively for me. Rhod has always been a favourite of mine and he has delivered; the grotto has been my task of the series, so far but JA has gone above and beyond. Love his little one liners.

Rhods grotto scene was probably my standout moment too, I cried laughing

Virgin media on demand is so crap. Sometimes they had the next episode right after airing, but the finale isn't even on now. It's two weeks since I saw ep. 9 now!

They don't release the final episode early to avoid spoilers.

Am hearing next series will air May 2019.. be hard to beat this year but presuming we'll get lineup after finale this evening.

Yep, especially considering there was just 2 months between series 6 and 7!

Looking forward to it but sad that such a great series is coming to an end.

Worthy winner. She was very solid throughout.

Great series, Taskmaster at its finest. Great contestants, excellent tasks and some incredibly moments.

Best episode of the series. Great tasks and twists in it. The
    computer game
    task was genius.

    GTAcaster
    to
    sausage fingers
    was inspired!

Such a good series this year.

The next, as others said, has a lot to live up to.

They really nailed this years cast from a collaborative basis. Everyone was great on their own but their interactivity was just brilliant.

Every episode had a series highlight in it but that last episode was sensational.

The jumping was amazing. And he was dressed like Nico Belic in studio...

    James'
    GTA
was brilliant, but I thought that Rhod deserved equal points for his
    Space Invaders
    . That was truly inspired.

where did he get all those people inside an hour though?

A great series overall, back to it's best after a couple of series where I thought it had maybe run out of steam.

I'm really sad this series is over because it was my favourite so far - didn't think they'd ever recapture the magic of the first couple of series, but this was amazing and one that I'm sure I'll re-watch several times.

I think with some tasks, you have to film it in a hour, but if it requires a lot of prep they don't include that in the filming and they'll give a good bit of leeway if they think it'll be good for the show. Same could be said for where did Jessica get the golf carts in an hour, or how did Kerry make all the tetris blocks in an hour.

The time limit itself wasn't the task as it wasn't a "Who can do it quickest or more" etc, it was just who could do the best one.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,388 ✭✭✭Cina

    That was so damn good.

The difference in quality between that and season six was staggering. The show lives or dies by its contestants, and James, Rhod, and Phil were all brilliant.

James had the jump for his GTA vid doen to a tee, so so good

James might be my favourite contestant since Paul Chowdry

The house is next to a golf course and leisure centre(owned by it afaik) . The golf carts would be easily had. I'd say between the production staff and volunteers from the leisure centre Rhod got the numbers handy enough.

GTA was amazing, but I spat my tea out at GoldenEye, that was genius!

When I saw Rhod's game with people in all in the same outfits, this classic came to mind..

But then I heard the Space Invaders craft movement noise, and the penny dropped..
