Can't say I'm bothered about anymore headline announcements or tweaks.
Much more interested in who is going to fill the plethora of empty daytime slots

Setting Son & Let Forever Be - two big collaborations with Noel Gallagher. Though they'd have to come on stage with him on Sat as he's playing in Wales on the Friday. And that sounds tricky with their set-up.

Plug in sequencer and press play?

last shadow puppets seems to be the most reasonable suggestion so far. Based on touring, availability, collaboration, and single band.

Agree - though it's a bit weird to still refer to them as a collaboration.

    What's wrong with Bell X1? They're fantastic.

What a letdown. After making the big hullabaloo about the announcement of the announcement we get these substandard acts.

    Have they announced who?

  • Registered Users Posts: 287 ✭✭neddynono

I'm well happy with that now. It's added another 6-7 acts to my already long list of acts to see.
    Roll on EP 😎

God those 30 acts are a complete let down. Suppose it's what I get for purchasing tickets in advance

Safe to say they have definitely done it on the cheap this year

  • Registered Users Posts: 569 ✭✭✭Blackie_IRL

Loads of the "new" acts announced were already on the line-up and playing in red bull, other voices etc. Feel a bit cheated tbh

  • Registered Users Posts: 383 ✭✭SoundOfSilence

Based on the acts announced I reckon the big collaboration will be James morrison and nelly furtado.

    Savage stuff!

In fairness if you were waiting on an announcement two wks before the festival to make you buy your ticket there's something a miss there!!!

2fm said its about their involvement in EP too. Don't get your hopes up. It's probably more about their own area in the site

Considering how much the tickets are, the standard of line up is very disapointing. Makes you wonder where all the money is going
