I presume the Terje ending time is 10:15, not 11:15 as that would overlap with SFA on the same stage. seems like no-one at EP/Irish Times actually reads these before they send them. always a few mistakes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,892 ✭✭✭Rfrip

other than that Terje/Jenny Greene clash and LCD clashing completely with New Jackson and a bit of Daniel Avery, there's not much that I've noticed.
I need a coffee and an updated clashfinder to work it out properly though :pac:

some odd placements in the EA, especially on Sunday.

New Jackson is playing the red bull stage too I'm sure so another opportunity to see him there. He's a must see for me but lcd will win that time slot

14+ hour marathon set from Todd. Hope he's packing some chemical assistance.

Only 1 clash for me so far and it's only a "maybe" lemaitre play at the same time as an Other Voices guest, which I think could be Noely G.
Happy out, it's gonna be an awesome weekend.

ha ha...avett brothers, shins and lcd were all on the top of my list to see...and low and behold will get to see thm one after the other!

    From Met Eireann....

'For Saturday there are indications that a developing Atlantic depression will bring strong southerly winds, spells of rain (persistent and heavy at times) and bands of showers, some heavy and possibly thundery. A brief period of drier conditions will follow before the next active weather system is indicated to bring further rain on Sunday.'

Doesn't sound great, but then the south/west will probably get the worst of it so Stradbally mightn't be too bad...

See the charts above in my post, very uncertain still.

Villain-are those three charts from the same source?

Anyone recommend any must see acts on the Sunday as Im only going for the day?

Happy enough with the stage times. Saturday night will be a busy one - running from King Kong Company finishing at 00.00 in Cosby to catch LCD on Main Stage at 00.05 and then legging it over to Little Big to see Daniel Avery, having missed 15 mins of his set.

Reckon it might be necessary to miss a few minutes of LCD to get a spot in the Little Big Tent for Daniel Avery.
It's going to be bunged out the door

Three different models, GFS, ECM and UKMO

  • Registered Users Posts: 921 ✭✭✭Shaque attack

Rusangano Family clashing with Chemical Brothers unfortunately.

Rusangano are playing twice luckily enough, they're one I want to catch. I can see the same difficulty as always this year with the new line ups... Bands I want to see are playing early afternoon when my mates will want to be pre drinking in the campsite. As will I to an extent.

Weather could make a big difference that way. Either way can't wait.

GFS looks a bit more promising for the previous Saturday downpour:

If that shifts even another 50 miles north, I think the worst of it will miss Stradbally completely. Conversely....

Yep but changing a lot on each run, this could be hard to call 24 hours out! ECM and GFS are not in agreement.

I'm preparing for and expecting a heavy enough downpour on the Saturday, and I think if I know fairly precisely when it'll come, it'll not ruin my weekend. I'm just hoping there'll be enough sunshine between the rain to dry up the ground!

There is one in the Weather forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057632748 but may not get as much attention as this forum.
