Well I set the alarm for 7 am this morning to catch a bit of LCD's set, didn't I fall asleep again, I caught bits and pieces of it. I suppose the full set will be online anyway to watch after.

it's repeated throughout the day on the Coachella youtube along with the rest of the stream. you can skip back up to 2hrs i think. they should be on again in a few hours I think. Foals and Of Monsters and Men are available on Channel 1 at the moment:

Yea Foals were rocking it! Yannis's mic was cut, he'd made his way into the crowd I thought for a second someone had unplugged it! But they must have ran over time.
Fair enough but at least wait until the song is finished before pulling the plug, surely 5 min won't hurt.

Never heard of Bob Moses until last night and really enjoyed them (they were on channel 1 before Foals). They got cut off as well at the end mid song. They are playing Pukkelpop so def gonna try get to see them again

Was downloading LCD set on mega and it just stopped at 99% WTF.

Managed to download in the end you just have to sit it out for 5 mins at 99%. Pretty amazing concert, good quality mostly.

I quite like Grimes but watching the stream of her Coachella set was fairly painful. Not sure if she was having an off night or her music just doesn't translate over to a live setting.

Saw her in the Olympia recently and she was outstanding despite being repeatedly given electric shocks from a malfunctioning pedal.

Yeah, always wanted to see her live and regret and not going. I think her set just had some techinical issues, and she was cut off short too which is a shame.

watching this Coachella live all weekend is it just me or doesnt it seem way over hyped and boring

crowds are dead and bands do not look to be enjoying their sets at all

Probably something to do with the drinking enclosure being separate from the arena, not drunk or stoned enough heh heh.

Always thought they were OK-ish but after watching that, I'm a fan! who the fook is Meg Myers BTW? her set blew me away and I was expecting some generic pop.

Also probably the heat. They panned out the view and most people were hiding in shades

In fairness it's a good descriptor for "soulless American dance pop", so that when I hear someone say they like it, I know that I can avoid them forever.
