    *BUMP*

We are hosting an open night Event in Flowerhill in Navan
The barracks on Flower hill is open to the public from 7pm to 9pm tomorrow (Wednesday) night this week 7th October 2015

    Location on google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/jsWKk

Go up flower hill and there is a narrow lane on the right - 15 meters past the Computer Repairs shop, drive or walk up this lane and you will enter the Unit Headquarters carpark and parade square. You will be greeted here by members of the unit who will show you where to enter for the event.

    Whats it all about?

The Irish Army Reserve unit in Navan is opening its doors to potential new recruits tomorrow (Wednesday) October 7th 2015, in a move to showcase the opportunities as an infantry soldier with the Army Reserve.

The events are part of an extensive recruitment campaign taking place country wide to encourage new recruits to join the Army Reserve after the Government announced the lifting of a recruitment ban last year in the Reserve units of the Irish Defence Forces.

Navan's Reserve unit, E company, 27 Infantry Battalion, 2 Brigade, is just one of over 26 units from across the country who will be hosting open evenings and recruitment events throughout October to demonstrate to the public what the Army Reserve is all about.

Members of the public attending the open evening will be able to try on kit, try out equipment and find out more from the soldiers themselves about the career opportunities available.

As mentioned the event begins at 7pm Flower hill Navan.
