Has anyone here ever heard of this plant.... I got a cutting of it this evening and planted it but I've googled it and nothing comes up for it.

A photo of the cutting might help. The only pineapple named plant I can think it MIGHT be is Feijoa sellowiana aka pineapple guava. The flower is very vaguely rose-like!

Two people I know have called it this but I may be spelling it wrong. They say it's very hard to come by so I really want to look after them if this is the case
