Biology expirement?

    I just started leaving cert year and I've kind of blanked some of the things in Biology that I've learned in 4th year. I'm just wondering what experiment is the one where there's two cells, one cell is immersed in a solution and you have to restore it back to it's original condition? What chapter in the book is it? Does any body know this? I've completely forgotten & I actually could've been out for this exp. because I remember having to miss the first Bio experiment we did in the beginning of the year last year..
