Student debit card contactless payment

    Hi.

    I currently have a BOI student debit. I find it very frustrating that it doesn't have contactless payments. If I am graduating in October and upgraded to a graduate a/c, will I get a new card with NFC contactless payment capability?

    Thanks for contacting us here on Boards. 

    You may be able to request a contactless Visa Debit card on your account. If you would like to request this type of debit card, please call Bank of Ireland Direct on 0818 365 365 and a representative will be happy to look into this for you. Our representatives are available on this number 8am to midnight Monday to Friday and 9am to 6pm on weekends.
