    Hi,

Not sure if this is the correct place for this or the travel forum, but maybe someone here has some experience.

Traveling with aerlingus for the fist time with the little man shortly.

    Their site says.

    Traveling on flights within Europe
One collapsible buggy/stroller per infant or child, plus one of the following items: car seat, booster seat or travel cot can be carried free of charge. Any other items over this allowance can be booked online as checked baggage.

Has anyone any experience with whether you can include the isofix base with this?
Should I just grow up and figure out how to attach with seatbelts.

(will be renting a car at the far side)

    Thanks,

It's actually easy enough to use the seatbelt...there is a video tutorial on their website (maxi cosi)

    for reference Aer lingus tweeted
It will be no problem to check in the base too, El Damo!

Might still try to figure out the seatbelts, I will be carrying enough anyway.

These no guarantee the car you rent will have isofix, it's highly likely but not guaranteed!

Plus some isofix bars will be deeper/ more awkward to reach. My sister had to get rid of her isofix base because the seats were bucket type and made the seat very upright for an infant.

So all in all your safer bet is to belt it in. It's very easy and there's usually clear instructions on the seat itself.
Put it in a plastic bag and shove some towels and nappys in there for padding!
