    Interesting...

I looked at Vodafone and Three online. Three's site said stock is severely limited. Not sure exactly what that means.

Sounds like they'll only have a handful.

This tracking appears false anyway. No sign of a postman yet. I think they automatically set it to "delivered" 24 hours after dispatch.

Fair play. We'll never have an official Apple store in Ireland but this is as good as it's gonna get.

    Never? Why so?

    Never? Why so?

Tax reasons. Apple pay a lower rate corporation tax in Ireland for their head offices because they don't have bricks & mortor stores that actually sell to the public. Similarly, anything we buy on Apple.ie comes from the UK (or Asia).

Using Compub is a roundabout way of using a third party company to sell their stock and avoid the necessary government taxes.

    Interesting information. Thanks.
Makes sense I suppose, in a strange kind of way.

Likely the same reason Dell never had a store here back in the day. And a lot of other similar companies.

Bit of an annoyance for customers who need to return a device though I'm sure?... Fortunately as yet, I've never needed to myself.

Apple usually have the pre-paid returns label to the UK for repair.

Fùck!! They were my best hope.

If it's any use to anyone, Meteor dundrum got ONE plus model in, but it can't be bought outright only as part of a bill pay.

This is a pain in the bollócks altogether.
This money will burn a whole in my pocket at this stage.

Yea I imagine most bricks and mortar stores will only have one or two pluses.

The 6s seems a lot handier to get, think it's still in stock in the Belfast store.

I've pre-ordered with three. I've seen on Twitter phones should be shipping tonight for delivery tomorrow.

Has anybody gotten a shipping confirmation yet for theirs?

Wondering if I should get my hopes up for a delivery tomorrow.

I'd imagine if you live in Dublin or near by, it should get delivered tomorrow?

    Here's hoping!

I do, so hopefully. I ordered on the first day the pre-order went live, so should be near the top of the list. But i ordered the 6s plus so imagine their availability might be lower than the 6s.
