Account verification issue

    Hi Folks,

Not too sure if this is the right place to post this but hopefully someone here can help (mods feel fre to move this if it isn't in the appropriate location)

I managed to brick my Lumia phone but fortunately discovered there was a restore tool available. After a bit of a wait my phone was restored and i logged into my account. on starting up i discovered there was a back up of the phone created and i asked it to restore this to the phone, happy days ... or so i though. in order to do this I need to verify my account which will be done via a code they will send to my e-mail. Unfortunately the code never arrives? i have tried this on multiple occasions but it never materialises - I only have one e-mail account and i know it matched (It might have been wrong once but i refuse to believe it got it wrong that many times). Has anyone else ever had this problem (they used to let me verify by text and that always worked fine)? If not could G-mail be blocking Microsoft e-mail? Failing that does anyone have any idea how i can sort this?

Short version: my Microsoft verification codes aren't coming into my g-mail account - anyone any ideas why?

    Thanks

Edit: I discovered today that my g-mail account isn't receiving mails, which might explain why I never got these mails from Microsoft! Not too sure whether or not this is an issue (googling suggests others were having this issue too) but for the minute i think the issue lies elsewhere! Thanks

Mods - feel free to lock or delete this (didn't want to delete it in case others had the issue)
