Any advice on what's the best bell for a diy replacement of an external bell for a siemens spc diy?

    Thinking Pyronix delta?

    Do REW sell them?

We use Pyronix Delta Bells on these all the time . A great bell.
Unfortunately REW don't sell them. Northwood Technology or RWL have them.

I use HKC bells and we have only had one faulty in the last two years. They look well and are extremely reliable.

ok RWL won't sell to Joe Public and Northwood is a bit of a journey for me.

Are HKC wired bells generic? i.e. will this work with a Siemens SPC system.
From available info, I would say yes but double checking.

The HKC bells are global and will work on any system.
    Did you ring RWL?
Most will give that line over the phone but will happily take your cash if you call in.
    Where are you located?
I can collect one for you if you want.

Thanks Koolkid, I'm based across the road from RWL (didn't realise where they were until googled them) so will try that tomorrow and call in.
    Cheers for the help

So no connection from panel to 12V- terminal on deltabell?

Also there is a link shown on delatbell doc from Top tamper to 12V- terminal at the bell - is this required?

You can wire that link or wire 12v - from the panel to 12 v- on the bell.
