2 losses from winning positions so far this season in very winnable games, disappointing.

Nearly a quarter of a billion quid spent across three transfer windows and United are relying on long balls to try scrape out a draw.

Don't be blinded by the marquee signings. Manchester United have a long, long road ahead.

Its worst Utd r getting. Sooner LVG is gone the better. Memphis is hopeless..greedy tw$t. Laboured play..so slow and terrible to watch.

  • Michael Owen is such a joke of a commentator
    Talking such horsehite

    Anyway fair play to PSV

We had enough of chances to ein it but mata and a few others fluffed it

Gutted about Shaw, been a tough night we have been unlucky

Probably the most open we have been in attack but suffered on the break

Very disappointing to loose a game again after taking the lead. Not good enough I guess. Silly goals given away and gave them the initiative. The lack of shots on goal is a real worry

PSV capitalised on United mistakes, can't argue they didn't deserve it

    United should still go through

Depay would drive you insane. Decision making is so poor. Pathetic losing this game. Wilson sitting in his suit in the crowd ffs. Feel very sorry for Shaw.

Agreed. Time to give old LVG his marching orders. He's on a par with Moyes at this stage.

Saturday was just papering of the cracks. Van gal hasn't got it in him anymore. Klopp would do well with that team.

We should offer 50 million to arsene wenger, he's the only one who could get something out of this team

Awful performance. How we have lost this game is baffling me.

Mata should not have stayed on and LVG's subs were atrocious. Why take Herrara and Young off?

Young was doing well I thought but Herrera was completely anonymous. Carrick should have been on for him at the hour mark.

    Mata was terrible

We fell a part once he came off and looked clueless. Mata should have been off earlier, really poor.

Thought United might sneak a win but PSV avoided the upset. Scoreline probably flattered United in the end.

Good to see Darmain being at fault for the winner given that he should have given away a penalty beforehand. Would also be pissed off at Depay if I was a United fan, 2 chances to put the ball in the box with everyone forward during injury time and attempts a shot both times.

Also hope Moreno's ok after being involved in that tackle. Sometimes being involved in a bad tackle like that can have a negative psychological effect on a player.

Might have agreed with that at HT, but don't think it can be said of the 2nd half. PSV played some good football in the 2nd half and could've scored 2 more - Man Utd didn't play any football in the last 20 minutes or so.

Looked clueless because we brought Fellaini on instead of Carrick or even Schneiderlin

The people saying Memphis didn't play well are wrong, him and Martial were the only bright lights in attack. The defense and midfield lost this one. Rojo looked very shaky and Smalling and Darmian had their worst games of the season. Blind at LB looked ok last season but I'd prefer Rojo there with Shaw out over him because of how good he's looked with Smalling.

I think overall it wasn't as bad as people will make out, just one of those games. Mata having an off day to the level he did is unusual and probably wouldn't happen 9 out of 10 times. Decent movement, some things were inches from coming off.

Yep don't think we had any shots on target in the 2nd half, or shots at all???

Awful night. We went out there with real attacking intent like we're all wanting too see and then we fail too take our chances and fall apart at the back. Anyway, I'm not worried yet. There is still plenty of games left,so we best just look forward.

Should I say I told you's so? United deserved to lose considering the ignorance and dismissiveness of some clueless clowns on here towards a decent PSV outfit...."handy game", "an easy 2 or 3-0 win". Ye jog on

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,006 ✭✭✭edgecutter

The indecisiveness from our players was also really poor. Chances to whip the ball in and no one does it even with Fellaini on. Valencia beats his man twice and still refuses to cross.

It was a handy game. PSV and dutch football overall isn't great at the moment. Fair play to them, they capitalised on our mistakes (who doesn't at this stage), but we should have walked away with three points tonight.

Should be an easy enough, run of the mill victory for United really.

    2-0.

    Like this???

The younger players panicked as the game got later but they will improve. Schweinstiger the only player who looks like he has a clue how to play the occasion. Would have loved to have him 5 years ago.

At least there is some pace in the team again. It's not Martial and Depay's fault they are thrown in at the deep end so early.

Gutted for Shaw though. Terrible luck

Feyenoord could have said the same 2 weeks ago. But of course they didn't win. Just ignorance by most on here as to how PSV set up

Ill go with a good 2_0 away win for united. Bastian to get his first goal and mata to score a sublime chip.

First page. Deluded Irish United fans that don't believe football exists outside the bubble of the premiership and think it's the bestest bestest league in the world.
