anyone know how rep. This on a vent diagram. 35 people returning from USA were asked which cities they visited
20 visited new york
13 visited boston
16 visited San Francisco
7 visited all 3
3 New York and San Francisco but not boston
1 New York and Boston but not San francisco
8 Boston and San francisco
Any help would be great as its wrecking my head.

Draw 3 intersecting circles and throw 7 in the middle anyway,

There would seem to be problem in the question as 13 visited boston but 7 visited all three and 9 visited boston and another city?

4 went to Boston only
7 went to all three cities
1 went to Boston and New York but not San Fransisco
1 went to Boston and San Fransisco but not New York

I might as well finish it now;
3 went to New York and San Fransisco but not Boston
9 went to New York only
5 went to San Fransisco only
And 5 did not go to any of the 3 cities!
