The interior is a bit grandad on them though with the fake wood and fuzzy seats, but they have aircon and stuff and are a hoot to drive.

2006 Punto with economical 1.3 Multijet diesel. NCT to 5/17

1650, but I think 1500 is the target here. Just make sure timing chain isnt rattling ( uncommon but expensive) Nice bright interior too.

Once again I would say it depends on the seller and how stubborn/flexible he or she is.

There really are no set guidelines

I was buying a car from a private seller last year and was told on phone the price is the price . 2800 euros . zero budge.

Anyway I arranged a viewing to which seller forgot and I'd travelled 40 mins drive, seller came to my town 2 days later as a apology to show me car and arrived late , then turned out he'd mistaken his miles and km in advert .

I got car for 2000 . he was genuine and so was car but you could see how awkward the whole thing had become and he dropped 800 in heat of battle.

I'm fairly sure those are belts not a chain.
We've the 130 version of that and its a belt.
    Great cars though.

    1.9 is a belt.

1.3 is a chain ( at least mine was, I think these have same engine save for ecu)

You're right, the 1.3 is the only one with a chain.
Wonder why.. Even the water pump is run separately.

By the look of the camwow logos there's a chance to beat the seller down massively on price, 12 year olds buckle as soon as you show them some cash.

Those are such a good looking car... I'd be tempted. Are they prone to breaking or reasonably reliable?

That is very cheap, and they're a decent bus if a bit fugly!

The stilo is fine but the engine would be a bit lacking.
    Id love the Schumacher variant.

Spacious family wagon with NCT to next may for €450 - with its current custodian 14 years, seems a genuine ad and I reckon it could be a good buy for someone looking for lots of space for little money

    Great cars those A6s'.

Better than the heap of sh1t that followed in the 2.0l format. That 1.9l lump was a good engine.

    Audi, A6, 2002. 1.9D

Do they really do anywhere near 55mpg though?

*not saying it's a bad car or buy.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

If do you mainly long distance driving at well below the speed limits with a light foot and never go anywhere near Dublin, then sure :p

Looks like that A6 has been for sale for a long time. Probably something wrong with it apart from it being very overpriced imho...
