    😎
He won't have the car til tomorrow because the boot won't open after NCT. Not moving on price. I hate when I need to pay full asking. Also hoping to get under 1500€

Maybe I missed it but what are your actual requirements?

Its very hard to find anyone to replace a soft top, so why not get porsche to do it?!

I had a soft top car and ended up spending 12 hours having to replace it myself with the help of a friend. its a pain in the :p

Surely the cost involved from Porsche would make it expensive?

This is the problem. My needs are in a constant conflict with my wants. So I can't even formulate.

I'm like " I need a cheap Fiesta for now.
    Oh - look - a shiny Alfa!!"
    No self discipline at all.

I would rather pay to have porsche do it then ever ever ever have to do it myself again.

List your needs and list your wants.
It will help people post something that fits both.

    I got a new girlfriend.

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/the-best-car/12829371

    Obviously the wants took over
    49k genuine miles.
Will need a set of tyres.
Glove box handle needs to be put back on.
    I'm happy.
Will add some pics when I bring her home

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Well wear! I presume since the NCT was done less than 2k miles ago, the suspension needs nothing? But that you do need to change the belt straight away?

Yes. The top arms checked out and theres no rattles. It has stamped history but the timing belt isn't mentioned. I will put a new belt on. Have the cam locks for that particular engine so it's no biggie.

Presuming you got a little bit of money off and you can do the belt yourself, you got yourself a nice new car for very little money. And you will get more back than it cost you when it is time to move her on :D

Oh yeah. Forgot to mention I got her for 700€.
    Happy enough with that.

Cheap, with tow bar and NCT to 3/17 for €695. Get it now before snow chaos kicks in.

savings to be made with Classic insurance too.
    Asking €2250

An alleged one owner, low mileage E200 auto with NCT to 7/17 and tax to 2/17 for a firm €950. I kind of like the look of this, there aren't many nice examples around anymore.

Idk if this is even such a bargain now that we're nearing the end of August, but a nice low mileage 1.6 MX5 with NCT to 6/17 for €1950. It has a genuine air about it to me.

What Alfa is it? Guessing a 156, link doesn't show

Does it look as if the offside headlight/wing is damaged?

'07 9-5 Vector 2.0t auto - leather, Xenons, sat nav etc, and NCT'd to 10/17 for €1950. A lot of car for the money imo, even at the top of the bangernomics budget.

I have a serious horn for a Saab the last few months (partly due to this thread), the 93's get sexier by the day!

    I don't need one, but it doesn't mean I don't want one!

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,451 ✭✭✭CharlieCroker

That 95 is ridiculous. I wish was doing small mileage to justify it.

And if anyone wants a manual 9-5 for €1850 with tax and test.:)

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles to avoid the DRS fee.

    seenashow we're on Saabs

if the description is truthful then you'll get a real rocket for next to nothing (if you can insure it)

Can the chrome on those 95's be removed? It looks like it's wearing glasses.
