Any car ever posted in here is worth more parted out than as a whole, not much point mentioning it.

And I reckon most lads would be divorced pronto if their missus found out they were starting a junkyard at their house. I know I would :p

Parting a car is for men with space and tools.
It's fool talk for the likes of me, with no space or tools.

True but not many cars have the customer base or demand for cheap 2nd hand parts that any vag from the mk4 platform tends to have which really was the only reason why I brought it up.

Anyways back to business with an interesting one here and possibly a first for bangernomics:

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/audi-a6-2006-new-nct/13166943

    2006 2.4 v6 A6 auto
Test till july17 it says new but perhaps the last year of a 2 year test?
Body looks clean; possibly a small mark on rear bumper drivers side and maybe a mark on the sill passenger side can't see clearly enough though.
Well spec'd car that people would think cost a lot more
Asking €2350 but says open to offers (2k should bring it)
Transferred to a new owner very recently so this could be used for bargaining along with mileage/dear tax and the other issues I've pointed out.
Its a car a man would really want to go over very thoroughly but it could potentially be a fine years motoring for a lot less than many would suspect.

I live in a rural location with plenty space but it's still not a nice activity to be at. If I was to break something like that, it would want to be stripped over a few days, bits into the shed and shell away off. Anything else is a joke even around a farm yard.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

    2006 2.4 v6 A6 auto

Only front wheel drive and with the crappy and unreliable CVT auto (which should have been serviced several times by now - probably wasn't ever serviced)

But for someone who doesn't know / care about these things, it's a lot of car for the money. Looks like it is worth several times that, even in Ireland

    Nice find!

(me, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole :p)

I will agree the plastics inside are cheap but external they still look nice and as said above the bigger engine model were good to drive that 1.6 was horrid tho.

61000 miles or 161000 miles, I guess the clocks roll over after 100?

Also the interior photos were taken at some point before the new radio was installed.

Decent car if it checks out!

Tbf its generally easy enough to tell a 60k mile Ka or Fiesta of that vintage from a 160k mile example.

    It has no tax.

Everybody is selling their sh1tbox Santa Fe. Nobody is buying. Not worth €1,250, maybe about €500 if the seller is lucky.
