Well done, have you tried any of it yet?
    Yup! :D

There was a little left in the fermenter, not enough to bottle and it was a bit cloudy with sediment, but I got half a glass out of it so me and my girlfriend enjoyed that. It's tasty! The flavour is quite sharp and strong right now, hence it needs to sit in the bottles and mellow out for a good few months before being properly ready, but oh my god is it nice. Warm you right up, so it would! :D

    Got 9 bottles in total:

I sense a song coming on.,,,

9 bottles of mead on the wall, 9 bottles of mead.
Take one down and drink it down, 8 bottles of mead on the wall.

8 bottles of mead on the wall, 8 bottles of mead.
Take one down and drink it down, 7 bottles of mead on the wall.

7 bottles of mead on the wall, 7 bottles of mead.
Take one down and drink it down 6 bottles of mead on the wall.

6 bottles of mead on the wall, 6 bottles of mead.
Take one down and fall down 6 bottles of mead on the wall.

    Caca milis.

I like a bit of everything but leaning towards more . . . I think it's called alternative? Ruelle: Up in Flames, Lisa Hall: Is this Real, Zella Day: Sweet Ophelia.

Plus all the rock, pop, RnB, dance and metal I liked before. Everything but country or classical. That said Yasmeen Amina Olya: O Habibi is pretty good and outside my comfort zone, discovered it watching a gameplay video for GTA believe it or not.

    How about yourself?

I don't recognise any of those names. I must have a listen. Well my tastes are much like yourself. Rock, pop, RnB, but also folksy. So the likes of Josienne Clarke, Julia Stone, Ane Brun. My post would be an essay if I was to get in to all the music I love :) Weird techno and instrumental stuff.

When I was younger I listened to alot of grunge and metal. Not so much these days. Now it's about music that evokes something in me.

You should try Kleerup with Lykke Li - Until we bleed. Great song.

They are not for sale I'm afraid. They're going to be enjoyed by friends and family, and there's very few bottles to go around. I'll start on a much bigger batch soon, that's gonna be kept up until next year. And then we'll talk ;)

In all seriousness though, I'm a long way off from selling it, but I am kinda curious, would I be able to sell it?

I have no idea, might be worth doing some research on. Now that you have the means and knowledge it couldn't hurt.

I think you would. You could start small selling it to people you know. I'm not sure how alcohol licences work outside of pubs/restaurants/shops but they are complicated to attain.

Start off small. Decide on your target market. Some advertising. Develop a brand. I've never come across mead being sold in this country so you could have a niche product on your hands.

I figured out how to totally reform Irish language teaching, we split it in two, teach the mechanics of language in the same way we teach the mechanics of all other languages and then the other option is the Arts stuff like the poetry and prose etc. Make that one optional if you're going to insist that we keep learning it (and you know what, I'm not entirely opposed to that) Scrap it altogether for national school though and spend that time teaching kids manners instead :)
