Líadan the trad group are doing an album Launch this Saturday in Dolans, its a free event. Myself, wife and children love the group. Im just wondering, as its a free event, will it be an actual concert or is it more about the launch of the CD, people giving speeches etc?

I don't know for sure as I don't have details on this specific event but any album launch that I've been to has always been a gig.

Yes a gig is a concert. If it's at night time it's unlikely that kids will be allowed but you could always check with the venue to be sure.
