Origi, Balo, Benteke and even Lambert have all looked like complete donkeys in this system with one up front which isolates them with no one close to them. I think it is about time we recognise they probably aren't the major part of the problem.

Very fortunate not to be a goal down, Bordeaux has had three decent opportunities.

He should take of Lallana, he is trying but there is no need for both him and Couthinio to be playing at the same time.

Liverpool very slow in their build up play. Because their wings backs are so deep when they do win the ball there's nothing to hit wide high up the pitch, Origi hasn't run the channels effectively and has been entirely isolated for 45 minutes.
Bordeaux look decent going forward, they've got a threat that's being helped by Liverpool's 5 at the back being disorganized and too often a lack of pressure on the ball in midfield, eg. Khazri's run late in the half.

Utterly insipid performance. The defence just doesn't look comfortable at all with three at the back. This wing back setup is equally useless - neither player on the flanks seem to know where they're supposed to be playing.
