Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dynamo Zagreb vs Arsenal

Arsenal begin their journey in Europe this season vs the Croatian version of the invincibles this evening.
Zagreb are undefeated in forty one games and will surely fancy a bit of giant killing tonight.
But arsenal look like a team who are poised to give someone a whipping as in Mesut Ozil and Santi Cazorla they boats the two players in the top five leagues who've created the most chances per game. Arsenal also lead in shots per game.

Ramsey and Bellerin are rested and mertesacker hasn't travelled after being in a car accident earlier in the week.

Is Cech injured or being rested for a CL game?

Self interest as he is in my fantasy league team...

    Dominate possession......check
    Waste some good chances.......check
Concede to the opposition's first attack.....check.

    Oh Arsenal, don't ever change.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 35,514 ✭✭✭✭efb

Don't think that was offside Ronnie, fortuitous on the rebound unlike Arsenal earlier.

Giroud had a great header saved earlier

    Ox not tracking back again!!
    He's such a lazy ****!

Not impressed with our full back choices this eve

Wow, Wenger is getting his CL fúckups out of the way early this year. We usually have a few points on the table before he starts playing reserves to add tension. It seems this year he has decided to go balls out and get us out of Europe nice and early. Top Job Le Prof

If he hadn't tracked back it wouldn't be 1-0.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,752 ✭✭✭Mr Blobby

Ox HAS to track back there. It was the fullback who was forward! You can't expect Debuchy to track their winger & fullback.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,678 ✭✭✭Marcus Antonius

Yes but it's something we are notorious for, bloody fullbacks taking up position at CB for some reason! Ox should have done better and was hardly blameless but the player ran into the space where Debuchy should have been

Giroud is poor, doesnt even offer any hold up
