    how do i find out if a landline in an apartment works?


    there is a socket in the wall. thats about all i have.

    Hi patricksmyth, 

    If you have a socket in place and plug a phone into it and there's a dial tone then the line can be activated through our sales team on 1800 503 303. If there's no dial tone a technician will need to call out to connect you up, the sales team will be able to assist you with this.
