That Namibian No.6 looks like one mean bastard.

This is pure muck as a spectacle - Barrett's try apart. :(

It looks like the end scene from a street fighter match out there

if NZ went side to side twice they would score. they keep it tight plays to namibia's hands

Every time I hear his name I keep thinking it's the South African player with a very similar sounding name.

    Namibia prop in the bin

NMS was gagging for it out on the right there but they kept trying to run through the Namibians instead.

Some excellent defensive work from Namibia in that last passage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,363 ✭✭✭✭Del.Monte

Poite and his whistle aren't helping either.

NZ need to think of my fantasy rugger team, and my bet :o

Yes, he got a try too.

Fair play to Namibia here. Some excellent tackling.

He's on the pitch if that's what you mean.

    He's not been that good.

    This is dire

Damn you, Ben Smith, could you not have made just one more pass there!

Such a slow moving game :(

I really thought NZ would absolutely hammer Namibia

Me too. I suppose it shows some improvement in the tier 2 and 3 sides. It is Namibia's first game though. Interesting to see how these teams go by the end of the pool.

Worst game of the tournament so far. If Ireland were playing like NZ have I'd be disappointed. So slow. Namibia dead cynical on their line though.

Second tier teams improving or nz not trying?

Why why why did I pick Savea for my team.

I was just thinking that NZ have really sat back here.

New Zealand usually don't take their foot off the gas, strange they are doing it here.

Yeah, hard to say. They could easily have scored about 5 more tries so far if they'd just passed it around a bit more.

Literally the worst 2nd half of a game of rugby in history; it has been on almost 45 minutes!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,842 ✭✭✭✭bilston

I thought NZ would rack up 80 or 90 points here. Credit to Namibia even if NZ are playing in 2nd or 3rd gear.

    Definitely a knock on there

First 10 minutes aside, Namibia have been better than I expected. Du Plessis at 7 looks a player

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Why why why did I pick Savea for my team.

    Assist and a try

Poite and the TMO are insufferable and contributing to this abomination.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,557 ✭✭✭sydneybound

Cracking display by Namibia to keep this shoreline down.

Provided they keep it under 60 from now till the end they be delighted, meaning they'll be beaten by less than 50 points, good result for them.

We must be watching a different game - a what point did the ABs have their foot on the gas? I wouldn't have Poite referee a Pro 12 after this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,018 ✭✭✭Bridge93

Surprised the AB's brought the big guns on

They were brilliant for the first 10 mins. Namibia didn't touch it.

Polite making a dogs dinner of this. This scoreline is effectively a loss for New Zealand. Strangely proud of Namibia. Is this the world cup of the underdog?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,969 ✭✭✭Assetbacked

    TMO?! Poite you prick.

The bookies gave NZ a 76 point advantage over Namibia

Think this game really puts Ireland's result against Canada in perspective. We stuck to our game plans and were the only Tier 1 team to never really look like we were struggling against Tier 2 opposition.

Kudos to Namibia though, they've been excellent. NZ uncharacteristicically sloppy.

Yeah Namibia should be proud of themselves.

I'd say that's a solid well paying career sorted for a few of the Namibians, time for a few of them to dust off their French and their maps of the Castres of the world
