Midleton: food, pint and tv

Have visitors coming this Sunday who want to watch the game while having a pint and some pub grub (carvery better than a menu). Offhand, I know only the Park hotel does decent carvery, but have never seen a tv down there (not that you'd hear it above the din). Any of the pubs on the main street do a good sunday lunch, and…

Try the Mad Monk perhaps. No carvery afaik but decent food, good tv and excellent range of drinks.

another vote for the Mad Monk. plenty of tvs so you won't have a problem.
