Palace look very impressive this season, plenty of pace going forward. Haven't looked out of place against any of the top four. We've managed a couple of wins, but yet to really ignite.

Few players out injured, but new recruits to fill the void. I pray to god Pochettino doesn't start Davies. Bolasie will murder him.

Should be a cracker, bounty of goals.

Merson has us down to lose 3-1. Go fúck yourself, I'm going for a snakey win.

I think this could be a high scoring game - hopefully 3-2 to us

Alli, Son and Kane to score

I agree with this, over 2.5 goals at 5/6 is my bet for the match.

Hopefully I'm right and hopefully we come out on top, but Palace's pacey and direct style of attack will punish any sloppy play.

    Lloris
    Walker----Alderweireld--Vertonghen
    Davies
    Dier----Mason/Dembele

    Son
    Alli/Lamela
    Chadli

    Kane

Subs: Vorm, Trippier, Rose, Carroll, Townsend, N'Jie, Eriksen

No idea about final score. Palace away record is insane.

I take it mason & dembele are both out?

The last time it was a Dublin v Kerry all Ireland final we beat Liverpool 4-0 in the early kick off. Here's hoping!

So basically every established central midfielder we have. Marevelous.

Dier been injured is a balls, especially with Bentaleb out too. This is where the decision not to sign reinforcements could come back to bite us in the ass

But we have been steadily improving. Goals a plenty I'd say. Draw.

    Draw.

    Possibly the most likely result.

I really dont no why Rose hasnt been starting. They give him a 5 yr deal and plays his best season for us and then benched.

I honestly think that a win would be an awesome result but we havent been playing well.

    2-2

He wasn't very good against Quarebeg(sp). He had two brain farts as far as I remember:o. Probably he is not performing well in the training.

Bolaisie will give nightmares to Davies because of his pace.

Hasn't Rose been injured? Figured that was the only reason he wasn't playing after being pretty good last year.

That wat i thought but i think he started the first league game for us.

A good nights sleep has led me to believe that we are going to walk this 3-0. The reality is going to be a lot harder to swallow i think

Both full backs are going to need help from the wingers ahead of them, plus Dier or whomever is at DM. With all the talk of a goal spree I fancy a 1-0 to us from a deflected Kane effort.

    Bench isn't bad today.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,428 ✭✭✭MrKingsley

Did fazio not get shipped to wba or did it fall through?

I love that starting line up. Need to stop playing with 6/7 constantly behind the ball at home. Take the game to palace at least

Good starting team, hope Alli does well.Good to see Eriksen back on the bench.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,433 ✭✭✭NomadicGray

Lamela in the middle behind Kane again?
Would love to see him do well there, put pressure on Eriksen to do well in every game

Big test here for Palace as they're up against a very strong Spurs side.

id love to see how many times kane has given the ball away this season

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,176 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Good start so far, just need to be wary of those quick balls behind our defense.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,428 ✭✭✭MrKingsley

Palace look like they have absolutely nothing going forward. Just need to keep picking up the second balls in our half.

Alli is trying too much i think

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 23,176 Mod ✭✭✭✭Kiith

Kane should have passed that to Lamela. Unmarked 2 yards from goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

    Kane was greedy there.

  • Registered Users Posts: 599 ✭✭✭09_09_09

Kane was being greedy. It was a simple tap in for Lamela.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭tippspur

We should be 2 -0 up but we've let Palace back into it coming up to half time.

Son, Lamela & Alli are playing well. I don't know what Walker was doing with the ball.

Kane looks very short of confidence.
