Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

For a big chap, Ivanovic does like to throw himself to the ground quite theatrically.

You're talking to the most biased man on the forum, I wouldn't expect him to give any ground when it's a Chelsea (or Barca) player at fault.

A Chelsea and Barça fan ?????

    Like a Jewish Nazi ...

It's funny the sort of scumbaggery people are willing to overlook and even celebrate depending on whether or not that player plays for their club.

Not a new phenomenon though is it.

Where is the yellow for diving?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Thats another dive. Is he being dragged and pulled? Yes. Is it enough to upend him? Not a chance.

I wish there was a retrospective panel for that rubbish.

Giroud on. Chance to redeem himself.

Wasn't a dive technically. There was an arm across him. No penalty though.

There is also a breeze, but the wind didn't blow him over.

    T'was a dive

How long since Cech lost at the bridge? :pac:

Wenger has nobody to blame but himself. Far too many barber shop models in the team.

Simulating falling over is diving....in every technical sense. It's simulation. The fact that they get away with it doesnt change that. Contact has zero to do with it.

Can't be any complaints for that one

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,563 ✭✭✭✭peteeeed

Should have been a straight red

    Shambolic discipline from arsenal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

The ref got that right guys. Blame the player. Santi was stupid.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Ah Dean, what are you at, not a yellow for me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,683 ✭✭✭LightningBlue

    Ref is a spastic

Dry up. It was a definite second yellow.

    Good decision ref

Arsenal discipline is poor. 3 reds in 2 games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,875 ✭✭✭ShoulderChip

Hopefully Chelsea players get out of this game unscathe, arsenal are being vicious.

What a woeful run of bad luck Arsenal have been having.

Severe lack of discipline on show.

You would have an extra 7 or 8 yellows a game then. It wasn't a clear dive.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Might as well sacrifice another player to take out Costa :pac:

Definite yellow though, I'm sure Wenger will focus on the first red but he can't have any complaints about that one (not that that will stop him).

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,573 ✭✭✭2ndcoming

Game ruined by the referee unfortunately

    ****en ref.

Probably a yellow alright, bit silly when on a yellow already.

Standing ovation for Costa. Thats the Chelsea fans for you folks.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,563 ✭✭✭✭peteeeed

    Costa just tackled his seat

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,850 ✭✭✭✭Strumms

Can't blame the ref for that, definite yellow. Arsenal just don't learn though. How many times over the last few years has ill discipline and poor decision making cost Arsenal in big games ? And they never learn.

Says it all about everyone at the club.

Lee Dixon on NBC is disgraceful.

Bias beyond belief, will probably claim that Arsenal are winning in a sec.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,292 ✭✭✭GreNoLi

Costa's off the ball work has been game changing.

You'd love a player like Costa playing for Arsenal. Just the type of player you need to turn you into winners. Arsenal don't have enough of players like him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,796 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Costa is such a fantastic player to have, when the chips are down, he doesn't go missing.

Cazorla commited two fouls in the game. Anyone calling his first contentious tackle in nearly an hour a "definite booking" is into a different sport than me.
