Can I use old iPad + cash to buy iPad Air?

I have a third-gen iPad for the past 3 years. It's in good condition but Probably not worth an awful lot. Was wondering if there's anywhere I buy a new iPad that would accept my old one plus cash to take a bit off the final price? Cheers

Try CEX...... They buy most electronics and give prices online

Sell it on adverts, then with your cash upgrade to a newer model there.
