Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He has to go with two up top and Coutinho just behind.

If it is a 4-4-2 diamond we should win this. If however it is 3 at the back then i would worry we would get the goals.
Sturridge will only be good for 60 minutes and should be replaced by ings

At least we'll have 2 strikers for the next 4.6 games.

Careful now...we're not allowed to make jokes about Sturridge's injury woes...it upsets the flat earthers.

Happy with the team picked, now let's hope the players deliver.

I am delighted with that line-up, no complaints here at all.

Absolutely no excuses for not winning this game now, if he even draws today with that team, it's a sackable offence IMO.

    Embarrassed for your optimism pal.

According to twitter this will be the first time in exactly one year to the day that we started with 2 strikers in the league. Then it was Borini and Balotelli away to West Ham.

Ya, happy with that. Hopefully its two up top though.

If we just don't count his past injuries then he's not that injury prone.

Suddenly our bench doesn't look too bad either.

    Great to see Sturridge back.

However, it's sad that an injury probe player has to be thrown straight back in because we're so desperate.

There isn't a well played gif to do this justice.

It would look better if Lovren wasn't on it...means he could potentially get on the pitch at some stage. Scary. He should be at home.

That's better, a bit of originality goes a long way.

    Brendan Rodgers
Sturridge isn't up to match speed, but it's important we get him out there.

    Still not desperation though.

It's 3 at the back, I'm sure of it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,363 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

Isn't match fit but is starting.

    Ridiculous tbh.

You're basically telling the team they're not up to beating Norwich without him.

i thought it was a bit too early for him to be starting... hopefully he can get 2 goals before half time and then take him off

I wonder how Origi and Ings feel about that comment.

Liverpool need to pull off a shock today and grab 3 points

Remember when we used to play Norwich and the only question was how quick Suarez would get his hat trick?

Sturridge already making a visible difference.

Has Rodgers got a phobia of playing a 442 diamond.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,477 ✭✭✭✭Knex*

Without Henderson and Allen, I can see why he doesn't set up that way, tbh

    Smh...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,037 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Miles better already. Two up front also prevents Norwich full backs from getting up. It justs makes sense for this team.

Benteke shifted out to the left by the looks of it and Sturridge down the middle.

5.3.2/3.5.2 depending on what way you look at it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,397 ✭✭✭✭Turtyturd

Sturridge didn't forget how to fall over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,948 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones
