Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best place to buy a Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro ?

    Hi all,

    The wife has decided on a Xiaomi Redmi 2 Pro, mainly because the camera is apparently quite good, and its the best camera phone we can find for the price.

    We have looked at Honorbuy, but shipping is 35€, which brings the total to c. €185

    Is there a cheaper place to buy it, or somewhere with cheaper shipping?

    Take a look at the first post of the Chinese phones thread. Just be wary that some of the sellers ship direct from China and you could be caught for VAT and potentially import tax depending on the price.

    Others either have EU warehouses, or ship from China but prepay the VAT for you

    took around 10 days to be delivered (via Czech republic warehouse)
    i paid €155 delivered

    Try gearbest, i'm looking at that phone too, it works out 122 with them from eu warehouse
