New monitor needed for gaming setup

Hi guys,

Built a nice PC there last year, and I can finally afford a new monitor.

Currently using 2 x 22" AOC 1920x1080 displays.

PC specs

i5 4690K
32gb ram
asus Z97-A
4gb GTX 970
SSD

So..... I'm looking for a bigger screen. Giving my 2 current monitors to my dad, so sadly I can't factor them into the price.

What I'd like is something bigger, say 28-32" but not going crazy on price, I'd like to keep it some what reasonable. say under 300 euro.

Any suggestions?

That is a bad monitor too large a size for 1080p, perfect size for a 1440p though.
Bad response time also 5ms.
I don't see the big fascination with IPS monitors, but then again everyone has their own preferences.

I've a 27" 1080p monitor and i have no problems using it with the res to size ratio.

Is there any 1440p monitors similar to the QNIX spec wise for around the 300-350 mark?

Since when was 27" too large for 1080p? Cos I got mine 3 years ago, and aside from the Catleap nobody was buying 1440p screens because they were too expensive. I know they're a lot more commonplace now, but my point is that the majority of 27" screens sold before 1-2 years ago were all 1080p

Personally ive gone with a 144hz gsync 1080 monitor [expecting delivery tomorrow] ,i had a 1440 monitor and dont find a huge difference compared to my current 1200p and 1440p.
Im dying to get hold of a gsync 144hz after having a quick look at one in action, the short 3-4 mins i saw it in action was enough to convince me i need gsync 144hz more than 1440.
