Under floor heating

    hi, looking for advice from people who have under floor heating ref types and prices. We've 2800sq ft bungalow in Galway and are v undecided whether to opt for geothermal or air to water. Significant difference in price. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks F

    ....it really depends on the actual demand of the house, not just whether you have UFH or not. For low demand etc I'd probably go with ASHP, but larger demand might be a better choice for GSHP - what sort of demand have you got ?

    thanks for response, by demand I assume you mean persons in household etc? On a steep learning curve here!! 2A and 2C, open plan living area connected to 4 bedrooms, basically it's shaped like a 'H'! TIA

    No, I mean the specific demand expressed in kw/m2 for your build, based on how it's built. This would be in your BER calculations
