Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just weighing up what I know about Dublin and Cork teams. Last year Cork beat Dublin by 1 point, after coming back from the dead. Dublin beat Cork this year in the league. Cork are almost unbackable at 2/5 and Dublin are offering good value at 23/10 with PP.Cork lost to Kerry earlier in the championship and blew them away in a later game. Cork seem to be unpredictable. What are people's thoughts?

Dublin have a habit of getting a bit of white line fever v cork in the championship

I think Dublin have something like 7 or 8 changes from last years lineup so it might be hard to judge how they'll go with so many in their first final.

Yeah from chatting with one of the girls involved I think there's something like 11 changes to the panel from last year - in the forward line Sinead Aherne has gone travelling and Lindsay Peat has either taken the year out or retired I'm not sure. McGonigle has brought thru a host of the U21's into the senior panel and a very interesting inclusion too is Hannah Noonan - an English girl with no ties to Ireland, but who'd played GAA in London (I think) and came over for the year to try her hand at the elite level.

Much like the men the ladies have leaned more towards a defensive set up this year - in saying that, the defensive set up of Armagh in the semis allowed the girls to express themselves a good deal more and they displayed a much more expansive game. Ladies football revolves around planet Cork at the moment, it'll be a huge ask for the Jackies but they should give a decent account of themselves.

Yeah, Hannah won an All Ireland intermediate club title with a London club who many people seem to have a problem with atm! I didn't watch the game yet, but heard about how defensive Dublin went and I'm surprised how they did it - but then again not surprised as I don't think their manager is good enough for this level. Is it now four losses for him against Cork??

Unpredictable - the most predictable thing for the last 11 years is that when the Cork ladies get to Croke Park, they always come home with Brendan :D:D:D

Yeah not to spoil it for you but they went too defensive during the game and the old problem of having your best attacking players on your own 45 in possession with no out ball became the frustration from a Dublin perspective. They went down in flames last year but in most respects they did more justice to themselves last year than this.
