Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Local historian, John Dunne will be presenting Music in Portlaoise 1950-1980 on Thursday, October 15 in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise. Featuring more than a hundred pictures and loads of diverse music, this multimedia lecture is the successor to John’s Music in Maryborough 1900-1950 which attracted a standing-room-only audience last December. This new lecture, organised by Laois Heritage Society, will start at 8 pm.
