Evision wasnt cancelled after 1 month trial now being billed

    We had our broadband upgraded to efibre over the summer and during the call to get the upgrade we were persuaded to trial evision for a month even though we didnt want it and dont use it. We have got bills that have included charges for evision. 

    The last bill we received had the phone/internet part paid over the phone and we were told we would have evision cancelled however when we were transferred over to another section eircom/eir the guy on the phone told us the evision wouldnt be cancelled till we paid the outstanding balance and that we were causing too much hassle if we cancelled because the account would have to be changed and the evision box collected.

    We have requested copies of the original phone call to upgrade the broadband but were told the recording couldnt be found. my wife rang back yesterday to have the evision cancelled and kept getting the same line. 

    Its a bit of a farce when a trial product is suddenly forced upon a customer when they didnt want it and dont need it.

    this obviously sounds wrong. If you PM us with your details we can chase case for you. Because you have requested copies of calls there must be a customer case opened for you. If you have the reference for this can you PM this also to help speed our search.
