It's 18 years since the first Taker Cell matches but my interest in this is flatlined. SummerSlam was a good match and the last Taker match against Triple H was OK but it really feels like those 80s slasher movie franchises like Freddy, Jason et al. where after the first few they all just blend in together

Anybody else of the opinion that something monumental happens tonight? I dunno whether its just me hoping for the best or not but I just have this feeling that something big happens tonight. Like Nexus big or Jericho debut big.

Sad for myself that i am more interested in Cena's opponent thsn the rest of the show.

Maybe its more suitable for the Random Thoughts thread but I wish this version of Taker would just go away. His deadman gimmick annoys me whenever he speaks. He would be far more interesting if he spoke like the American Badass. Instead of all his matches having to be the big epic match with loads of finishers it would be good to see him squash a few people like Brock does in the house show specials or when he battered Bo Dallas.

I think I remember another minor PPV where something big happened.
But I think the US title match will just be one of the current roster. Or am I just being a pessimist?
At the same time doesn't it have to be someone who beats Cena so badly that he has to take months off to recover from the injuries?
