Want to/ need to walk. Not too happy about going out alone. Would love a club or companion to motivate me. Not power walking please for starters anyway. Limerick area.

On meetup.com there is a Women's Club which has mid-week walks : LINK
Not being a woman prevents me from knowing much more about it ;)

The Loopers are a walking and slow jogging group I think. You'd be fine.

I went out with them a few times, and didn't find them the friendliest to be honest. They're a bit of an elitist group.

Oh dear. That would not suit me at all. :(

It was quite a small group and they all seemed to know each other well. I didn't feel very welcome. Most of them paired up in two's and I was left to tag along. I think I went about three/four times and that was enough.

thats a pity. I'd have thought there's loads of people who would love a walking buddy, especially in the darker nights
