Friend's kid is looking for an Ipod that can run Viber and play games.

Anyone know can Nano and Touch do this and from which generation of each.

    Thanks

    Hi,

This is an official representative of Viber Media.

    Yes, Viber works on iPods.

Note: Viber supports only one device per phone number, when you use the same number on another device your previous account will be deactivated automatically (that includes loosing all of your information).

It works with Touch so anyone know if it works with Nano, they seem cheaper?

Not on the Nano no, they don't have an App Store. A cheapo android without a sim could do the same job?

You'd still need a phone number though right?

Yeah, I specified that as they may not want to give the child a phone, but a Viber acconut under say their father's number if he doesn't use it for example.

Viber needs a phone number tied to it regardless of where its installed

    Ah right.
On a side note, I wouldn't advise using another person's number though. If dodgy messages were sent from the device which has viber active, it's possible the person whose number is tied to the account would be liable, not the actual sender (probably being over cautious here )
