I rather embarassingly and stupidly bought a U.S playstation plus code. Is there anyway that Sony replace it an EU one or am i just screwed?

You can set up a US account and use it that way. You can access all the benefits of it from your Irish account then. Win, win. Well actually any free Plus content you download on the US account will not work from your Irish account when/if you let it lapse later on.

Yes it will only keep working if you keep up the subscription and I dont think Sony will replace it.
